December 7, 2018 the III International Scientific and Methodical Conference “SMART Education: Resources and Prospects” took place in KNUTE.

Roman Hreba, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science, in his opening speech emphasised the importance and significance of such an event in the conditions of digital transformation of education; he also mentioned the prospects of cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science and world leading companies, which will ensure development of new innovation projects at the premises of leading universities.

Nataliia Prytulska, the first vice-rector of KNUTE, who was also the moderator of the conference, addressed the audience on behalf of KNUTE rector, Anatoliy Mazaraki. In her speech, Ms Prytulska said that the main requirement of the 21st century is the search for new technologies of education environment modernization, and in this environment an adequate competence of the teacher is getting vital.

Rapid transformations in the information environment need radical changes in assuring the functioning of “teacher-student” model. All the speeches at the plenary session were dedicated to the best world practices. Among the speakers were:

Maryna Danylchenko, head of HR Development Department at Linkos Company;

Andriy Moskaliov, CEO of Integrated Technology Laboratory LLC - Intela, USA/Canada;

Kateryna Hodgson, CEO of HUB 4.0;

Maksym Volynets, manager of educational programmes at Microsoft Ukraine;

Valeriy Pashorin, professor of Programme Ingeneering and Cyber Security Department at KNUTE;

Mariia Bohuslav, deputy head of Innovation and Digital Education Association, manager of Lingva.ua, coordinator of Skills Academy.

Within the conference some very interesting workshops were held.

The task of all the conference participants is implementing the ideas they got at the conference into the educational process, into the content and form of every subject, which will ensure improvement of modern education quality.
