General Information
April, 15-19, 2019 professors of the University of Central Lancashire (Preston, UK), Silke Engelbard and Delia Anne Jackson visited the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (KNUTE) within the frameworks of the Erasmus+ project KA1 "Learning Mobility".
The aim of the professors’ visit to KNUTE was teaching lectures and practical classes in such topics: ‘Shock advertising’, ‘Language issues in advertising’, and ‘The evolution of marketing communication in a digital age’ for students of bachelor's English speaking programs in KNUTE. In addition, a focus group with students was organized to investigate the impact of online advertising on the purchase of cosmetics.
During the visit S. Engelbard and D. Jackson met with Valerii Sai, Vice-Rector on Scientific-Pedagogical Work and International Relations, Tetiana Dupliak, director of European Education Center and Sergiy Kravtsov and Klaudia Yatsyshyna, persons in charge for English speaking programs in KNUTE. British professors had an opportunity to familiarize with the activities of our university, its scientific developments and the educational process.
It is worth mentioning that five students of KNUTE received a Bachelor's degree diploma of the University of Central Lancashire last year, and another ten students are nominated to this HEI within the ERASMUS + project for the next academic year.
