Victory of ATLANTS University Teams at the Kyiv City Tug-of-War Championship
General Information
On December 11, 2020, the
Kyiv City Tug-of-War Championship took place. This
year, due to quarantine measures, the championship was held in 4x4
format. There were the following weight categories: men – 360 kg,
women – 260 kg.
In total, 8 men's and 9 women's teams took part in the competition.
3 men's and 2 women's teams from ATLANTS participated in the
Championship and took all the awards.
Men’s teams won:
• First place – ATLANTS;
• Second place – ATLANTS Junior;
• Third place – ATLANTS Royal.
Women’s teams won:
• First place – ATLANTS Girls;
• Second place – ATLANTS Wild Cats.
In addition a time trial on a truck pulling was included to the
Championship. KNUTE ATLANTS men's team won the competition with a
result of 10.14 seconds. KNUTE ATLANTS Wild Cats women’s team
became the best with a result of 12.73 seconds.
