2 – Educational program
aim
|
To provide basic knowledge, abilities and skills, that form and
develop programmatic competence that is necessary for further
studies and professional activity in the field of International
relations.
To form the professional world view of political scientist who
is able to decide intricate theoretical and practical problems and
problems in the field of International relations and foreign
policy; to analyse International cooperation between the states,
International organizations and non-state actors, that envisages
application of International relations theories, foreign policy and
international communications; obtaining the competence of political
analysis realization of International relations and foreign policy
of the states, and also for effective work in the spheres of
foreign policy and International cooperation.
The feature of the educationally professional program is its
interdisciplinary character, namely synthesis of International
relations knowledge, foreign policy, and International safety. This
educationally professional program combines theoretical and
practical preparation of students with application of modern
educational technologies, implementation of scientifically
searching tasks. Corresponding forms, methods and receptions of
studies, powerful resources of university (material and technical,
skilled, informative, organizational, financial resources and
others), provide the achievements of the following aim.

Educationally professional program of bachelor has the applied
orientation. The program is oriented to the preparation of
graduating student to professional activity in the field of
International relations, that envisages ability to carry out
interdisciplinary complex approach in educed and description of
different aspects of International relations, trends progress of
countries in their ethno national, cultural and historical, social
and political and social economic measuring.

objectives

Professional preparation of political scientist in the field of
International relations is oriented to the study of foreign-policy
processes (collaboration, integration, international conflicts) and
foreign policy of the states, is oriented to the in-applied and
professional bachelors’ preparation that comes true with bringing
in of structural subdivisions of public authorities, that is
responsible for forming and realization of foreign policy of the
country, foreign diplomatic representative offices, International
organizations and others; knowledge of foreign languages. Keywords:

Interdisciplinary preparation of specialists in area of
International relations, historically and cultural, social and
political, ethno national and socio-economic development of the

approach of the systems will be realized in forming of maintenance
of the profile-oriented educational disciplines are used in

The political scientists prepared within the limits of the
program in the field of International relations have the
opportunity to work after the speciality:
in the organs of public administration of Ukraine (public and
local self-government authorities), and also on the enterprises, in
establishments and organizations both especially of political
aspiration and those that function in the various spheres of social
and political life and International relations;
in academic and research organizations of Ukraine and foreign
countries related to the political science and range of problems,
as independent research workers, and in project groups;
in government and management bodies, in intergovernmental and
ungovernmental International organizations, Mass media, as
employees, with possibility of participating in development and
realization of decisions and projects;
in political parties, in International and Ukrainian public
organizations that carry out a project (consulting, consultative,
research and analytical), and also informative activity in the
field of politics and International relations, as employees, with
possibility of development and realization of decisions and
projects.

assessment

Teaching and learning
|
There are student-centred studies, self-training,
problem-oriented studies, individualized, creative approach through
productive practices. The system of studies methods is based on the
principles of purposefulness, binariness - active direct
participating in educational process of teacher and student. The
basic approaches are humanism, systematicity, manufacturability,
discreteness at teaching process. Lectures, seminars, individual
study, tutorials with teachers, course-works writing and projects
development, and practical training.

Assessment
|
The cumulative grade-rating system that envisages the students’
assessment for all types of educational activity is sent to the
capture of the educational loading from the educational program:
current, module, final control in form of writing examinations,
essays, digests, projects, practices, term papers, Final Qualifying
exam.
Assessment is protected under the “Act about the assessment of
training results of students and postgraduate students” and “Act
about the organisation of students’ educational process”.

Ability to solve complex specialized and practical problems in
the field of political, international relations and foreign
policy or in the process of studies, to carry out the analysis of
international cooperation between the states, international
organizations and non-state members, that envisages the application
of certain theories of international relations, foreign policy and

complexity and vagueness of terms, with application of theories and
methods of political science.

Professionals who realise the training of students in specialty,
suitable to licensed terms of educational activity realization at
first (Bachelor) level of higher education. 100% of staff involved
in teaching of professionally-oriented disciplines, have scientific
degrees in corresponding specialities.

Logistical support allows providing educational process during
all cycle of preparation by the educational program. The state of
classrooms is validified by technical passports that conform
to operating normative acts. In educational process computer
classes are used with powerful computers and modern software.
Computer-assisted workplaces in the Scientific library of the

of both library and university on the whole. Students have the
opportunity to use their own PC with free possibility of access to

conclusion of agreements about international academic mobility

and receiving dual degree and so on.
