Semester studies of SUTE students in leading higher education institutions within the framework of the EU Erasmus + program
Even in the difficult and tragic time of the war the projects of the European Union Erasmus+ KA1 "Learning (academic) mobility" continue to be implemented at the State University of Trade and Economics. These programs are aimed at realizing the right to international academic mobility and are an important component of the university's internationalization strategy in the international educational space. Leading European higher education institutions – partners of SUTE express their support and solidarity with Ukraine, hope for further fruitful cooperation, and also provide assistance to our students and academic staff.
14 students of SUTE took advantage of the Erasmus+ scholarship program and were studying abroad for a semester (in February 2022). 9 of them were studying at the Ljubljana School of Business (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and 5 students were studying at University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (Würzburg, Germany). Our students showed themselves abroad not only in conscientious study, but also in active participation in various events in support of Ukraine. In particular, students attended rallies and anti-war actions, engaged in volunteer activities.
It’s important that Erasmus+ student exchange is bilateral. Two students from the Ljubljana School of Business – Nika Kofalt and Zan Turk studied at SUTE on the bachelor's program in English "Management of foreign economic activity" in the second semester of the current academic year.
