II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Innovative Methods of Economic Management in the Context of Digitalization of Business” on the Occasion of the World Economist’s Day

On the occasion of the World Economist’s Day Department of Public Administration of the State University of Trade and Economics (SUTE) responded to the initiative of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management and became the co-organizer of the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Innovative Methods of Economic Management in the Context of Digitalization of Business”, in which took part teachers of the Department of Public Administration, and which took place on the 10th of October 2024.
In her welcome speech, Doctor of Sciences in Public Administration, Professor, Head of the Department of Public Administration, Victoriia Zalizniuk, congratulated the conference participants on behalf of the SUTE team with the World Economist’s Day. Mrs. Victoria thanked the initiators of the event, and also noted that today educators and researchers were contributing to the development of new scientific knowledge, which is the key to joint victory, with a focus on preparing a new generation for the restoration of Ukraine.
At the plenary session, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Administration of SUTE, doctoral student Andrii Shynkovych, who shared the results of his thesis research, delivered a report on the topic “Digital Technologies in Food Safety”. Mr. Andrii emphasized that digital technologies play a key role in the state regulation of food safety through the performance of a complex of functions. After all, digitalization contributes to the automation of management processes, when digital systems reduce the time and resources spent on performing everyday tasks, allowing you to focus on strategic tasks. Digital tools not only speed up decision-making, but also make management processes more flexible and adaptive. This is of crucial importance under the legal regime of martial law and post-war reconstruction.
The participants thanked the SUTE for active scientific position and presentation of the results of its scientific researches, and thanked all organizers of the conference for the initiative and hospitality. All those present at the conference expressed their desire to hold similar events with the participation of government and business representatives in the future.
