Contest "Speak with Your Heart, Cherish the Word"
General Information
On February 21, 2025, the Department of Modern European Languages of the State University of Trade and Economics held the contest «Speak with Your Heart, Cherish the Word». The Balakliia Pedagogical Vocational College joined the event. A total of 22 students from both educational institutions participated in the competition.
Based on the results, winners were determined in the following categories:
- "Best Orator" – Olha Petrovska (State University of Trade and Economics);
- "Best Grammarian" – Iryna Korneichuk (Balakliia Pedagogical Vocational College);
- "Professional Language Specialist" – Olena Artava (Balakliia Pedagogical Vocational College);
- "Master of Non-Conflict Communication" – Angelina Kalinichenko (State University of Trade and Economics).
In celebration of International Mother Language Day, lecturers of the State University of Trade and Economics had the opportunity to test their lexical and grammatical skills. More than 50 lecturers completed tasks of varying difficulty levels.
The events served as a platform for developing students' language competencies and an important step in enhancing the professional level of lecturers. The contest contributed to the promotion of the Ukrainian language, the improvement of linguistic culture, and the art of public speaking.
