VIІІ All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference “The Science of the XXI Century: Challenges of the Contemporaneity”

The Department of Modern European Languages of the Faculty of International Trade and Law, together with the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation, Faculty of Trade and Marketing, held the VIІІ All-Ukrainian Student Scientific and Practical Conference “The Science of the XXI Century: Challenges of the Contemporaneity” on May 15, 2025.
Tetiana Harbuza, PhD in Education, Associate Professor, and Head of the Department of Modern European Languages, led the commencement of the conference. She warmly welcomed all attendees and guests, highlighting the conference's pivotal role as a significant scientific event within university life. Dr. Harbuza underscored the State University of Trade and Economics' extensive educational and international initiatives, which actively engage students in crucial projects. Foreign language proficiency was emphasised as a vital component of education within the institution.
The Vice-rector for Research, Pedagogical Activities and International Relations, Doctor of Sciences in Economics, Professor Anzhelika Gerasymenko, in her welcoming speech, emphasised the importance of students’ research work. She noted that participation in such events contributes to broadening their horizons and professional growth, and she wished the students inspiration and success in their research endeavours.
The conference saw the participation of over 198 students from 12 educational institutions across Ukraine. Ukrainian educational institutions were represented by: the State University of Trade and Economics, Kyiv; Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”, Vinnytsia National Technical University, Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytskyi University of Management and Law, Zaporizhzhia National University, Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Ivano-Frankivsk, National University “Odesa Law Academy”, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, Uzhhorod Institute of Trade and Economics of SUTE, and others.
A total of 198 papers in English, German, and Czech were presented for discussion at the Conference. The event featured six discussion platforms covering various fields such as Economics, Finance and Audit; Information technologies; Philological sciences; International Trade and Law; Management, Marketing and Advertising; Psychology.
The Organising Committee wishes to express its profound appreciation to all attendees for their enthusiastic engagement and invaluable contributions.
