Certificate courses from Marc Siegel (San Diego State University, USA)
General Information
Thanks to the cooperation between the State University of Trade and Economics and San Diego State University (USA), students of SUTE had the opportunity to take the courses ‘Good Governance and Compliance Management’ and ‘Organisational Resilience and Risk Management’ remotely during the 2024-2025 academic year. The courses were developed and taught by Marc Siegel, Director of the Global Security and Resilience Projects, Homeland Security Graduate Program at San Diego State University, who personally visited SUTE in March 2024.
By integrating the fundamental concepts of ISO 31000 and COSO standards, the course provided students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate complex risk environments while establishing holistic risk management strategies across the organization. The students received certificates upon completing the course.
