Agenda:
Contest partic ipants send works for review and evaluation by
the Expert Group to the e-mail: ufpa.konkurs@gmail.com.
The evaluation procedure of competitive works is anonymous,
carried out by the Expert Group («blind»evaluation) on a scale from
1 to 100 points. Popular science essay sare evaluated according to
the following criteria:
- originality and validity of the idea;
- correspondence of thecontent of the essay to the declared topic
of the Competition;
- the oretical knowledge of the scientific field of the essay
(international law, international economic relations, international
relations, public communication sand regional studies, political
science);
- the ability to work with primary sources in compliance with the
rulesof scientific citation;
- the ability to argue one'sposition;
- correct design and presentation style.
The expert group chooses the winnersby a simplemajority of
votes.
Requirements for
works:
Independently prepared individual works of students on current
issues in the field of knowledge «International Relations»
(international law, international economic relations, international
relations, public communications and regional studies) are
submitted to the Competition.
Works are drawn up in accordance with the following
requirements:
The text is in the Microsoft Word editor (Times New Roman font),
size – 14, spacing – 1.5, A4 format, all margins – 20 mm.
The volume is 8-10 pages with a list of used sources.
The language is Ukrainian.
Drawings, graphs, diagrams, tables placed in the text are made
in the Microsoft EXCEL editor in book orientation.
The column number (page number) is placed at the bottom in the
middle of the page.
All numbers expressed as decimals should look like this: 2.5;
54,84, etc.
The manuscript must be prepared according to the generally
accepted scheme:
• the title of the work – in capital letters (centered);
• surname, first name and patronymic of the author – in capital
letters with information about the course, faculty, name of the
institution of higher education of Ukraine, specialty
(centered);
• annotation in Ukrainian and English up to five hundred printed
characters each (indented before the text).
The competitive work must contain the following necessary
elements: relevance, references to the works of other authors who
deal with similar issues, purpose, research results, general
conclusion, list of used sources.
Preference will be given to works on little-researched topics of
international law, international relations and foreign policy of
Ukraine, which are distinguished by novelty and non-standard
approaches to solving current problems of interstate relations and
world politics.
Works submitted to the Competition are not returned.
