The official program began with a meeting of the highly honored guest with the University Rector, Professor Anatolii Mazaraki. The meeting was attended by Vice-Rectors, Faculty Deans, and leading academics who are already implementing and ready to develop new joint international projects with Swedish universities and the business community.

At the beginning of the event, Rector, Professor Anatolii Mazaraki, expressed deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Sweden for its powerful military and financial support in the fight against Russian aggression. In response, H.E. Ambassador Martin Åberg emphasized the heroism of the Ukrainian people, stressing that this armed struggle is being waged not only for the sovereignty of Ukraine but also for the protection of the security of the whole of Europe and the defense of universal human values.

The following key areas of potential cooperation were discussed during the meeting:

• Establishing partnership relations with the Embassy of Sweden.
• Expanding SUTE's cooperation with Swedish Higher Education Institutions.
• Deepening contacts with Swedish companies operating in Ukraine.

Following the official meeting, a campus tour was conducted for the esteemed guests, showcasing the University's modern educational and research infrastructure.

The University Administration, and Rector Anatolii Mazaraki personally, express high respect and sincere gratitude to His Excellency Martin Åberg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to Ukraine, for his visit to the State University of Trade and Economics and look forward to the continued development of mutually beneficial partnership relations.
