General Information

At the initiative of the Department of Economics and Competition Policy, a guest lecture “Public Procurement Reform in Ukraine” was held on April 20, 2026. The lecture was delivered by Nataliia Shymko, Deputy General Director of the state enterprise Prozorro.

Students were presented with up-to-date insights into the transformation of Ukraine’s public procurement system, including key reform directions, regulatory and legal frameworks, and the implementation of international standards. Particular attention was given to ensuring transparency and accountability in procurement procedures, as well as to mechanisms for preventing corruption risks.

Participants also explored practical aspects of engaging in public procurement, current challenges, and future development prospects of the system in the context of European integration. The session concluded with an interactive discussion, during which attendees received answers to their most pressing questions from the invited expert.

The Department of Economics and Competition Policy and the students of SUTE express their sincere gratitude to Nataliia Shymko for the engaging lecture and valuable practical examples of procurement organization within the Prozorro system.
