Training on Building a Career Development framework

General Information

The Delegation of the State University of Trade and Economics participated in the Training on Career Advancement Hub (CAdHub) Development organised within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 international project «University Infrastructure for Workforce Development focusing on Twin Transition» (UniTwIn), which was held from the 11th to 13th of May 2026.

The training was focused on developing modern approaches to the establishment of university CAdHubs, strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions and employers, supporting students’ professional development, and improving mechanisms for integrating young people into the labour market. During the training, participants who represent leading universities from Spain, Portugal, Sweden, and Ukraine have discussed current approaches to the establishment and development of CAdHubs and the Network for Information Exchange and Learning Resource Sharing (SkillNet) as institutional platforms aimed at supporting the professional development of students, graduates, and staff of partner organisations. Proper attention was paid to modern approaches to soft skills development, digital tools for supporting career pathways, the establishment of partnerships between universities and businesses, as well as international best practices in lifelong learning. The practical form of the training included teamwork shops, the analysis of successful case studies, and discussions on the functioning of CAdHubs. The practical results of the training are expected to contribute to stronger cooperation with employers, the development of professional adaptation programs, and the introduction of new approaches to supporting the career growth of SUTE students and graduates.
