Methodological Seminar “Digital Tools for Ensuring Academic Integrity”

General Information

In order to familiarize academic and teaching staff with the innovative capabilities of the StrikePlagiarism system, a methodological seminar “Digital Tools for Ensuring Academic Integrity” was held at the State University of Trade and Economics on May 21, 2026 by Olena Artiushenko, Development Manager of StrikePlagiarism.com in Ukraine.

During the event, participants discussed modern digital tools and practices for ensuring academic integrity in educational and academic environments. The seminar participants became acquainted with the possibilities of using text similarity detection systems, the principles of identifying academic plagiarism, the specifics of analyzing scientific and methodological papers, as well as current challenges related to the use of artificial intelligence in the educational process.

Special attention was given to the updated functions of the platform, particularly the tools for detecting materials generated with the use of artificial intelligence. The speaker also provided examples of violations of academic integrity and offered recommendations on how to prevent them. During the discussion, participants asked questions and shared their own experiences. The event was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere.

The participants had an opportunity to learn about the latest approaches to the technical verification of academic texts, discuss practical aspects of using digital tools in professional activities, and ask questions.
