SERGII BABURIN

Sergii Baburin was born in Semipalatinsk on the 31th of January 1959.
In 1981 he graduated from the law faculty in Omsk state University in 1986 he defended a candidate dissertation "Political and law studying of Georgiy Forster", and from 1998 - doctor of legal sciences. Dissertation on the topic: "Territory of the state (theory-law aspects)".

S.Baburin in 1986-1990 - docent, deputy dean, the dean of law faculty in Omsk state University. In 1990-1993 - people-s deputy of RSFSR, the member of Constitutional committee. In 1993-2000 - the deputy of State board of Federal Meeting of Russian Federation І and ІІ calling. From 1999 - the director of the Institute of national strategy of reforms (Moskow), in 2000-2002 - deputy director in scientific of Institute of social-political researches RAS.

S.Baburin from 2002 till now - rector, chairholder of Russian state University of trade and economics (RSUTE). in 2003-2007 he was the deputy of State Board, deputy head of State board. 

S.Baburin is real member of eleven social academies, member of Presidium Eurasian sociological association. On voluntary basis he was working in boards of trustees in Novo-Spasskiy Monastery, penal systems, Aid Fund to sportsmen of. L.І. Yaschin and others.

S.Baburin has such honours and awards: order of "Friendship", medal of Congress of Philipin "For achievements", honorary certificate SB FA RF, honorary certificate RF FA RF, Patriarcha certificate "In blessing for responsible work for the honour of Russian Orthodox Church". He has other state awards of ex USSR, Russian Federation and foreign states.

S.Baburin has more than 250 publications in theory and history of the state and law, constitutional law, politology, international public law, trade law and business.
