Speaker Oleksandra Efremova - an IT consultant, PhD in economic sciences, graduate of SUTE - presented her own vision of the problems and prospects of the functioning of the information technology market in Ukraine and the world, assessed the current challenges of the industry caused by the state of war, highlighted the priorities of the development of the information technology market in the post-war period.

Special attention was paid to the significant demand in the information technology market for domestic specialists and their high professional competences, which provide an opportunity to successfully compete in this market segment. During the webinar, the need for state support of the industry for its successful development in Ukraine in the conditions of post-war recovery was also substantiated. Those seeking higher education were very interested in the speaker's practical experience in the field of IT, namely: how to create a successful business in the field of information technology and what practical skills an IT specialist should possess, how to form the necessary professional competences, the role of higher education in successfully building a business in this area. The speaker emphasized the need for constant and flexible training, hard work on oneself, the ability to communicate with people and knowledge of foreign languages ​​as important factors for success in the information technology market.
