EU Migration Policy
What is the purpose of the project?
Jean Monnet's module examines the EU's migration policy through the lens of tackling contemporary hybrid threats such as racism, xenophobia, violence, etc. The main goals of the project are to reveal the EU integration strategy for immigrants to ensure their inclusion and diversity, as well as to analyze the impact of digital transformation, climate change and the coronavirus on migration trends. Within the scope of the project, it is planned to hold sessions on the following topics: EU integration strategy for immigrants; gender equality within the EU migration policy; European ecology of intercultural communication; EU legislation on freedom of movement of persons; Combating illegal migration to the EU; Challenges and prospects of labor migration to the EU, etc.
Who is our project for?
The target group of the project is Ukrainian and foreign undergraduate, master's and postgraduate students of the State University of Trade and Economics. Participants will gain skills and knowledge about tools for overcoming the modern migration crisis.
What will be provided within the scope of the project?
1. Training course on migration policy of the European
Union;
2. Handbook on migration policy of the European Union;
3. Conferences for discussion and formulation of recommendations on
improving the legal regulation of migration policy;
4. Scientific articles on current issues of migration policy of the
European Union and Ukraine
