On September 25-28, 2019, Professor of Cambridge University, EU Advisor in Brussels, Emmanuel J. Yanakudakis visited Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (KNUTE). The visit took place within the framework a joint international project between KNUTE, colleagues of the Athens University of Economics and Business and Cambridge University, which has been implemented since 2018. The Brain Personality Teachers and Students Assessment study, launched in 25 European countries, uses a psychometric approach and logical tools to assess the recipient's personal characteristics. It allows to determine the psychometric features of the human factor, including qualitative personality traits, abilities, and aptitude for doing a particular job.
Prof. E. Yanakudakis held a number of working meetings with KNUTE Rector A. Mazaraki, Vice-rector V. Sai, heads of the departments of management S. Bai, psychology M. Korolchuk, cybernetics and system analysis A. Roskladka, representatives of the university academic staff, and students. The meetings became a platform for discussing the results of the project implementation and outlining the prospects for further cooperation.
Prof. E. Yanakudakis emphasized that the study, covering more than 3,000 KNUTE students, is the largest among all universities in Europe, and added that KNUTE is one of the most promising strategic partners in this area. All participants of the meetings reached an agreement on the further development of the project and the publication of joint articles on the basis of scientific research in European Union publications.
