Project Description
EU Gender Security
The project aims to raise awareness of the new generation about gender security, to disseminate the basic EU principles on gender equality and empowerment of women and girls in the EU and Ukraine, implementing the idea of diversity and inclusion, to build knowledge about qualitative and quantitative methods for evaluation and a set of tools to promote gender security in the EU in the economic, social and political spheres, aimed at unlocking the positive impact of high levels of gender security, inclusiveness and increased innovation in the EU and Ukraine.
Expected results of the project.
- Development of a course on gender security of the European Union (56 hours), including an online manual "EU Gender Security" (120 pages);
- Training on the course "EU Gender Security" for 120 participants;
- Conducting three conferences "Gender Security in Europe: Methods and Tools to Counter Threats", which will cover 180 participants;
- Creation of the EUGENSEC project website;
- Dissemination of the EUGENSEC project results (active Facebook and Instagram pages).

The module leader is responsible for general supervision of theproposed Jean Monnet Module, delivering entrance and final testing, training sessions “The Concept of EU Gender Security”, “Gender Security in the EU Economy” and “Qualitative and Quantitative Methods for Assessing the EU Gender Security”, elaborating the ad hoc web-site, official pages in social media, preparing an online textbook “EU GENDER SECURITY”, conducting a research resulting in publishing an article on comparative analysis of gender security in Ukraine and EU member-states.

Chair Holder of the Jean Monnet Chair Training “European Integration Impact on Economic Security of EU Member-States”.

The module coordinator is responsible for coordinating activities within the proposed Jean Monnet Module, and delivering training sessions “The Toolkit for Fostering the EU Gender Security” and “Political Dimension of the EU Gender Security”, preparing an online textbook “EU GENDER SECURITY”.

The trainer is responsible for delivering training sessions on “Female Empowerment in the EU Gender Security”, “Qualitative and Quantitative Methods for Assessing Female Empowerment in the EU”, “Qualitative and Quantitative Methods for Assessing the EU Gender Security” and “The Toolkit for Fostering the EU Gender Security”, elaborating official pages of the proposed Jean Monnet Module in social media, preparing an online textbook “EU GENDER SECURITY”, conducting a research resulting in publishing an article on comparative analysis of female economic empowerment in Ukraine and EU member-states.
