I am pleased to welcome you on the page of the Department of Economics and Competition Policy. Our Department is one of the basic departments of the University. For more than 50 years it provides the fundamental training of SUTE students in Economics. Achievements of the Department have been recognized not only within the University but outside as well. The Department is known among specialists for their textbooks and scientific-methodological developments in the disciplines "Economics", "Macroeconomics", "Microeconomics", "Antitrust activity" and others.
The Department trains specialists in the sphere of Economics, Antitrust Management and Industrial Economics. The Department cooperates with Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, private enterprises and NGOs in the training of students.
The pride of our department is that for the first time in Ukraine we began training in the area of competition policy (major "Antitrust Management"). The Department provides training in modern curricula, where the educational complex contains more than 20 titles, including: Economics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, State Antitrust Regulation, etc.

Educational level "Doctor of Philosophy" (PhD) Subject area 051 "Economics" Features of the programme. Creating new knowledge in the field of economics, updating the methodology of economic analysis, developing on this basis practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of enterprises, organizations, institutions, and improving the economic policy of the state as a whole. Positions: lecturer at universities and institutions of higher education, civil service professional, economist, head of the economic department, researcher. |
