Tourism Day in KNUTE: Vivid Impressions and Interesting Competitions
General Information
Recently the students of KNUTE have celebrated the International Tourism Day and Tourism Day in Ukraine. The celebration started on the 24th of September 2016 on Kontraktova Square. The event was opened by Hennadiy Plis, first deputy of Kyiv City Administration, Oleksander Slobodyan, the owner of Obolon company, Olexander Kosar, the owner of Kozyrna Karta TM, and Nataliia Prytulska, the first vice rector of KNUTE.
It was for the first time for us to start the Oktoberfest with the colorful flash mob, where more than 200 first-year students of Restaurant, Hotel and Tourism Business Faculty took part. Students had an opportunity to work with Kozyrna Karta well-known restaurant chain and helped to serve and entertain the guests.
On the 27th of September a photo-quest started at the University campus. The task was to guess 8 the most secret university places and take a picture. The prize was a 50% discount on bar-tour to Lviv.
On the 30th of September in KNUTE the celebrations to the International Tourism Day and Tourism Day in Ukraine took place. The ceremony was opened by the rector of KNUTE Anatoliy Mazaraki who wished all students successful future.
A lot of entertaining programmes and competitions were held that day as well as “Sweet breath” social event. Everyone had an opportunity to buy cookies produced by the students of the Restaurant, Hotel and Tourism Business Faculty and all the money received was given to the orphans’ house.
The fest finished with awarding all the winners of the competitions with memorable prizes.
