Successful implementation of the KNUTE project "DCFTA with the EU: advantages and downsides for the Ukrainian society" continues

On the 10 – 13 of October, 2016 in the Vinnytsia Trade and Economic Institution of KNUTE the third module of the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics project "Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement with the EU: advantages and downsides for the Ukrainian society" was held. This module was attended by over 70 participants, representing small and medium businesses, local governments, higher education institutions of different levels of accreditation in Vinnytsia and Khmelnytsky regions.
Participants were interested particularly in the essence of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, the soecifics of tariff liberalization for Ukraine industries, adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to EU norms, customs aspects and trade facilitation instruments under the Agreement.
A 70% increase of participants’ knowledge, detected by comparing the results of the preliminary and final testing, was a positive result indicating the effectiveness of the teaching facilities of the action.
An important achievement of the event was mutual understanding strengthening between trainers and trainees of the action, which was resulted in a positive effect of co-education during the implementation of the action’s goals and objectives. While summarizing the results all participants expressed gratitude to the lecturers for the high level of professionalism and coverage of relevant and useful information.
As a result of the action each participant received a certificate (in Ukrainian and in English) signed by the rector Anatolii Mazaraki.
On their part the project team expressed gratitude to the Director of the Vinnytsia Trade and Economic Institution of KNUTE N.L. Zamkova for the perfect organization of the event and for the help in creative atmosphere of project.
The next stage of the action is scheduled for March 2017.
