In January 2017 at the Antalya Academy of Tourism (c. Antalya, Turkey) within the frame of the youth tourism initiatives support the results of international competition of scientific projects "Tourism development in the modern world: history and perspectives", which was held among students and pupils aged from 13 to 27 from Europe, CIS, Africa and Asia, were summed up.

More than 60 students and pupils took part in the competition.

The competition aim is to broaden participants’ views in the fields of tourism and cultural heritage of different countries and to promote intercultural communication among young people around the world.

According to the results of the competitive selection the following projects were defined as the best:

II degree diploma – Tunyk Oleksandr Mykolayovych, a 1^st year master student of 10m group, Faculty of Restaurant, Hotel and Tourism Business, Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics. “The Old-city for smart-visitors” project (research advisor: T.I. Tkachenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor).
