The University Day is the most important event of the year in the KNUTE. It took place on May 25, 2019.

This day covered several more important events: Alumni Meeting Day, University Open Day and KNUTE Commonwealth Games. Such a combination has become very symbolic, as graduates are now eager to show their children and grandchildren the place, where they were not just studying, but the place where they were developing their talents.

Opening the grand event, Anatolii Mazaraki, KNUTE rector, congratulated all the guests, graduates, students, staff members, and emphasized: "The University is rapidly developing in all the spheres: science, sports, public activities. It's nice to see what talented students and successful graduates we have. It's all for you and thanks to you!"

A lot of honored guests came to welcome the university:

• Andrii Ilienko – People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 7^th and 8^th convocations;
• Anna Romanova – People's Deputy of Ukraine, chair of the Subcommittee on Tourism Development, Resorts and Recreation Activities of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Family, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism;
• Shafina Marek – Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Ukraine;
• Yana Bretska – an international partner in organizing KNUTE students’ practical training, Director of the Merkur School of the Slovak Republic;
• Volodymyr Honcharov – Epicenter K Deputy General Director, a 1999 KNUTE graduate.

The alumni of different years and the largest group of 1979 graduates, celebrating their 40-year graduation day, were the most welcome guests!

The University Day is characterized by a good tradition to award talented students.

Not only scholars, but also candidates and masters of sports have studied at our Alma Mater. Annually the University Sports Games among the teams of the faculties are held at KNUTE. Our athletes compete in 10 kinds of sports: drag racing, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, badminton, swimming, powerlifting, sports aerobics, football, mini soccer. Anatolii Mazaraki awarded winners with the KNUTE Sports Games Cup.

KNUTE friends and partners have been cooperating with the university for many years. These are: ZAMMLER, ARICANO, METRO, Epicenter, Foxtrot, Coca-Cola, PETRUS, lifecell, MARS, Grant Thornton, TPG, Novyi Proekt, Trypillya, RESTO SPILNOTA etc.

The scientific society held a quest under the slogan "Looking for True KNUTE Connoisseur". The quest was not aimed only at intellectual skills, but also required certain sports skills. The participants took part in humorous contests, where students demonstrated their improvisation skills. The winners were awarded by A. Mazaraki, KNUTE rector.

KNTEU legal club held a quiz "The Connoisseurs of Economics, Finance and Law". The quiz was organized in the form of brain ring. The questions were related to economics, finance, administrative and European Union law, constitutional, criminal, civil and commercial law. The participants showed their deep knowledge in these areas. They were awarded with gifts from the KNUTE partner – Grant Thornton, the international audit company.

KNUTE Eco-club held the Ecological Monopoly game. According to the game, the world is divided into six continents, which seek to develop their own economy, while protecting the environment. The continents pay taxes on natural disasters, retrofit plants for the benefit of the environment, agree with each other through negotiations on further cooperation to reduce harmful production. During the game, each member-team tried itself in business negotiations and resolved conflict situations, plunged into English terminology and had a good time in the open air.

LifeCell mobile communication provider was a partner in conducting intellectual games, it awarded all the quiz participants.

The grand event of meetings, smiles, hugs and happy memories has been organized successfully!
