KNUTE Foreign Students Participated in the Conference on "The Role of Youth in the Development of Agriculture of Ukraine"

General Information

On April 19, 2017, KNUTE foreign students of different faculties attended the Ukrainian scientific and practical conference on "The Role of Youth in the Development of Agriculture of Ukraine" held in the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. The event was organized in the framework of the scientific project "Development of the Concept of Modern Foreign Language Training of Various Categories of Adults in the Non-formal Education" (2016-2018). This project is carried out by the experts of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences, and O.Korotun, Associate Professor of KNUTE Modern European Languages Department. She helped to develop the research platform on the problem of the Ukrainian language as a foreign language. This time experts wanted to involve the speakers of different languages, including foreigners who have been living in our country, because the project aims to develop an innovative concept of foreign language training of various categories of adults (age and gender characteristics, professional orientation, civic engagement, social status), implemented in the non-formal education to achieve the objectives of the integrated strategy of training and adult education within globalization and European integration processes of Ukraine.

Thus, KNUTE FEMP students, Kerimov Sanan Nazym oglu (II-9 group) and Ismailova Kamran Hidzhran Gysy (III-21 group), shared their experiences of learning the Ukrainian language as a foreign language in the report on "Foreign Language Training of Foreigners in Ukraine: Ukrainian Language Learning Experience". FITL Students Adzhoka Honlan Ezeshiel (III-9 group) and Jobe Joy Lovet (III-12 group) spoke about the prospects of attracting foreigners to study in Ukrainian universities in the report on "International Students in Ukrainian Universities, Language and Cultural Aspects".
