This year two important events – Alumni Reunion and Open Day – took place on the same day. Such combination of events became very symbolic as many University graduates are willing to show their children and grandchildren the place where they had studied and spent most beautiful years of their lives. Maybe they are the ones who will become KNUTE students one day.

Our Alma Mater’s constant development has been proved by signing two partnership agreements with Kyiv City State Administration Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development and Kosmos Ltd., International Transport Company.

In his opening speech A.Mazaraki, the rector of KNUTE, welcomed all the graduates, students, staff and said: “The biggest pride of our University is the unique atmosphere of creativity, trust of all generations of graduates and students. Looking at the faces of our students one starts believing in a bright future of our country”.

The rector awarded the winners of different sports competitions (billiard, chess, table tennis and mini football. After that various festive events started. University guests had a chance to see, participate and enjoy the BBQ festival, sports competitions, festive concert, exhibitions, creative contests, campus tours and tasty treats.

The festive concert as usually started with the KNUTE hymn. The performance of the People’s Student Academic Chamber Choir was impressive as always. This time they performed Ukrainian folk songs potpourri.

After the concert University graduates continued walking along the cozy campus, chatting in a warm and friendly atmosphere of the fest.

University Day, the day of beaming smiles, hugs and happy memories, is over. But we hope to see you again very soon!
