Round Table on International academic mobility within the program of European Union Erasmus+: experience and future development (В черновиках)

December 20, 2017 Round Table on International academic mobility within the program of European Union Erasmus+: experience and future development took place at the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics. The aim of the Round Table was a discussion of organizational-coordinative questions of realization of international academic mobility of students and academic staff of KNUTE.
V. Sai, Vice-Rector for Scientific-Pedagogical Work and International Relations, gave a speech at the opening of the Round Table. T. Dupliak, director of European Education Center, represented the programs of international academic mobility for students and academic staff of the university within the program of EU Erasmus+. During the current year the university realizes 10 projects with the leading European HEIs – KNUTE partners.
The key of the event were presentations of international students – Tobias Kiene (Germany) and Pierre Guillo (France). The students have been studying under the Master degree programs in English during the first semester 2017/18 at the KNUTE. They shared their impressions about studying at our university and presented their HEIs for the students of our university.
Students who had been studying during one semester at the University of Hohenheim (Stuttgart, Germany) and at the University of Central Lancashire (Preston, UK) told about their experience of studying abroad within the program of EU Erasmus+. They told about selection criteria for the program, conditions of participation, peculiarities of education at the European HEIs.
Teachers who had been studying in summer at the University of Central Lancashire (Preston, UK) told about selection criteria of academic staff for participation in the programs of international academic mobility of EU Erasmus+ and also they told about their own experience of traineeship.
Kateryna Ladychenko, Dean of the Faculty of International Trade and Law and Nataliia Iksarova, associate professor of the Department of International Economics told about their experience of teaching at the leading European HEI – University Grenoble Alpes (Grenoble, France).
The discussed questions on the Round Table were timely, modern and practical. The reports had been discussed actively by all the participants of the Round Table. This showed the considerable interest to the questions of realization and development of programs of international academic mobility within the program of UE Erasmus+ in KNUTE.
