General Information
Representatives of the KNUTE Restaurant and Hotel Business Faculty: M. Boiko, the head of the hotel and restaurant business department, A. Okhrimenko, associate professor of the department and O. Venhlinskyi, O. Hrytsenko, the fourth-year students majoring in Food Technologies – participated in one of the largest gastronomic fairs – "DANUBIUS GASTRO Bratislava 2018", which took place on the 26th of January. It’s a place, where new equipment is presented, where professionals and enthusiasts of gastronomy meet, where young bartenders, chefs, confectioners, bakers and sommeliers from around the world can demonstrate their experience.
KNUTE students also demonstrated a high level of competence in the professional skill contest.
Also, representatives of the faculty met with Michal Bartec, Director of the National Institute of Professional Development and Jan Brcko, Director of the Merkur Professional Education Academy. The parties exchanged their experience and concluded a preliminary agreement on cooperation and organization of the professional training of the faculty of restaurant and hotel business students in the best holiday destinations of the Slovak Republic.
