And again the Congress Centre Hall was overcrowded with KNUTE-oriented high school graduates, who took an opportunity not only to get acquainted with the University they want to enter, but also speak with Faculty Deans, Heads of Departments, professors, members of the Admission Board and students.

The University was presented by the Head of the Student Council Darya Ponkratova, who was the moderator, she conveyed an atmosphere of benevolence, tolerance and respect in her Alma mater.

Faculties, educational degrees, specialties (specializations) and KNUTE All-Ukrainian Olympiads in System Analysis and Food Technologies were brightly and briefly presented by the Deans:

• Faculty of Accounting, Auditing and Information Systems, Candidate of Technical sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of the Program Engineering and Information Systems Oleksandr А. Kharchenko;
• Faculty of Finance and Banking, Candidate of Economic sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance Tetiana V. Kanieva;
• Faculty of Trade and Marketing, Candidate of Technical sciences, Associate Professor, Department of Commodity Science, Safety and Quality Management Viktor A. Osyka; 
• Faculty of the Restaurant, Hotel and Tourism Business, Doctor in Economics, Professor of the Department of the Hotel and Restaurant Business Nadiia I. Vedmid;
• Faculty of Economics, Management and Psychology, Candidate of Economic sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory and Competition Policies Oleksandr І. Miniailo; 
• Faculty of International Trade and Law, Candidate of Economic sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of International Economic Relations Kateryna I. Ladychenko.

Director of the European Education Center, Candidate of Economic sciences, Associate Professor Tetiana P. Duplyak, told about the KNUTE students studying abroad and the prospect of their participation in double degree of KNUTE programs with leading European universities.

The peculiarities of the 2018 admission campaign were presented by the responsible secretary of the Admissions Committee, Candidate of Technical sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Commodity Studies and Customs Tetiana H. Hlushkova, noting that studying at the KNUTE is the first step for building a successful career in the future and obtaining a prestigious modern degree that is valued and respected in the modern labour market.

Guests also had a chance to have an interesting tour around the university premises, specialized laboratories, technically equipped classrooms, library, dormitories, sports facilities, stadium, campus.

The meetings held during the Open Day were interesting and useful, the entrants got a lot of impressions, positive emotions and motivation for the successful completion of external independent assessment, which will give them an opportunity to join the family of the best higher education institution which is Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics!!!
