The delegation from the International Chamber of Commerce visited KNUTE
General Information
Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics was visited by the delegation from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), consisting of: Philip Kucharski, Chief Operating Officer of ICC, Anthony Parkes, Director of the ICC World Chambers Federation, V.U.Mykhailov, the First Vice-President, General Secretary of ICC Ukraine, O.H.Tsvietkov, Director of the Center for International Programs ICC Ukraine.
During the visit on February 5, 2018, the guests met the teaching staff, postgraduates and students of the Faculty of International Trade and Law (FITL). Rector А. А. Мazaraki greeted the guests and opened the round table discussion. The Dean of the FITL K. Ladychenko presented the faculty and its departments, headed by Т. М. Меlnyk, L. M. Deshko, О. О. Bakalinska. Two foreign guests told about the specifics of the functioning of the international structures they represent, while V. Mykhailov and О. Tsvietkov described the activities of ICC Ukraine. An active discussion started, in the process of which the representatives of the ICC gave answers to numerous questions from teachers and students of the KNUTE.
The visit ended with talks on further cooperation with KNUTE and FITL, in particular. The prospects of creating an ICC Academy branch in Ukraine (perhaps on the basis of KNUTE), the possibility of training best students at the ICC Headquarters in Paris were discussed.
