The implementation of the KNUTE project within the framework of the Erasmus + Jean Monnet Program is an ongoing success

General Information

According to the plan of the project "Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area with the European Union: Advantages and Disadvantages for Ukrainian Society" (562453-EPP-1-2015-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE), the project’s seventh module has been held on the basis of KNUTE from March 1st to March 6th, 2018.

The module was attended by 35 representatives of educational institutions and public organizations from different regions of Ukraine: Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, the Podolian Agency  of Regional Development, VN Karazin Kharkiv National University, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, The Institute of Economic and Legal Research of NAS of Ukraine, "Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman" and KNUTE.

Among the project participants were teachers and students of background unrelated to the project’s topic (financiers, lawyers, accountants) and representatives of NGOs. This has made possible the interdisciplinary effect of spreading knowledge on the advantages and disadvantages of DCFTA+ for Ukrainian society, considering the real situation in the economy of both Ukraine and the European Union, and reflecting on the state of the commitments made regarding the implementation of the Agreement.

An important achievement of the event was a deepening of partnerships between the lecturers and students of the project, which resulted in the positive effect of joint training in the process of achieving the goals and objectives of the project. This was made possible by the cooperation of lecturers and listeners with the Code of Academic Work Standards and Ethics, through establishing contact and building confidence between project participants, a complete immersion of listeners and lecturers, the use of active learning techniques and the formation of effective feedback and the constant orientation on progress.

Each participant received a certificate (in Ukrainian and English) signed by Anatolii Mazaraki, the KNUTE rector.

The next stage of the project is scheduled to be held in June 2018.
