The memorandum was signed by Anatolii Mazaraki, KNUTE Rector, Kostiantyn Vashchenko, National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Head.

A. Zabolotnyi, National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service deputy head, N. Aliushyna, director of the civil service HR general department, N. Prytulska, the first vice-rector on scientific and pedagogical work, deans, heads of divisions, lecturers of the Public Management and Administration Department and students of the University attended the signing ceremony.

Kostiantyn Vashchenko, National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service Head, noted in his speech, that two years ago a new Law of Ukraine "On Civil Service" was adopted. During this time more than 40 regulatory legal acts were passed in order to implement its provisions. Nevertheless the implementation of structural reforms in Ukraine in public administration and civil service still requires a high level of professional competence and development of state and local government officials. The Government approved the Concept on reforming the system of professional training of state officials, heads of local state administrations, their first deputies and deputies, local government officials and local councils’ deputies.

Anatolii Mazaraki, KNUTE Rector, claimed: "Today, we are signing a memorandum, which contains new ideas and expectations, partnership relations in training future civil servants, involvement in the educational process, educational and scientific research, student practical training and employment." He expressed his hope for the effective partnership.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation, the participation of the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service in the work of KNUTE concerning the following issues: monitoring the situation in the labor market and education, studying the needs of the professional environment; developing new educational programs and improving the existing ones; practical training of students; carrying out the final certification of students.
