Time to Act XI Consumer Festival: Preparation Has Started
General Information
December 10 is the International Human Rights Day. On this very day the preparation to XI Consumer Festival “Time to Act” has started at Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics. According to the 1789 Bill of Human Rights, consumer rights belong to basic human rights.
Consumerfest 2019 is to be held from the 12th till 20th March 2019 under the slogan Consumers International “Reliable Smart-products”. Traditionally there will be arranged many interesting events: roundtables, exhibitions, flash mobs, competitions, quizzes, etc.
The issues to be addressed:
- SMART-products, SMART-consumption;
- consumer rights in the times of digital technologies;
- advertising impact on the consumer;
- legal aspects of consumer protection;
- cooperation tools between businesses and consumers;
- quality and safety of goods; food fraud;
- consumer problems of service market;
- healthy life style, foods for healthy diet;
- edible trash or junk food in young people’s diet;
- trade problems in consumers’ opinion, etc.
Anyone wishing to attend is welcome to join us from the 12th till 20th March 2019 and to make a significant contribution to consumer movement development in Ukraine.
