Svitlana Melnychenko, Vice-Rector for science, Svitlana Shapoval, Vice-Rector for scientific-pedagogical work, Viktor Osyka, Faculty of Trade and Marketing Dean, Tetiana Kanieva, Faculty of Finance and Banking Dean, university lecturers, students, postgraduate students and other guests attended the opening ceremony.

The guests were able to check their knowledge of consumer rights in the quest “SMART-Consumer, Be careful! The Seller, Be Legal!” organized by the Department of International Private, Commercial and Civil Law. They could also participate in the quiz "Be SMART!"

The Department of Banking was presented by the Financial Services Advisory Center. Its specialists will provide free information on financial services; will be able to offer solutions in the area of income and expenditure, savings and investments, and to tell about legal protection in case of consumer rights violation in this area.

In addition, the guests got acquainted with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine legal project "I Have the Rights".

The campaign by the Ukrainian Alliance Against Counterfeiting and Piracy "I Buy Genuine Goods! I Do Not Buy Forgery!" was interesting to the participants. In addition, all those interested could answer questions related to consumer rights protection.

This year's festival is the eleventh event, which shows the importance of consumer protection issues. We are sure that this festival will become an important step towards ensuring high standards of life and the formation of a conscious society.
