Visit of the Hellenic Republic Ambassador to Ukraine
General Information
On May 14, 2019, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to Ukraine Georgios Poukamissas visited KNUTE. Mr. Georgios delivered a lecture for professors, PhD students and students on The State and Prospects of the EU Policy on the Eastern Partnership.
After the lecture there was a lively discussion between the ambassador and the students. They discussed issues of the European integration, the prospects of Ukraine's accession to the EU, the problems of fighting corruption, taxation, etc.
The ambassador met with A. Mazaraki, KNUTE Rector and V. Sai, KNUTE Vice Rector. He highly appreciated the students' skills, their motivation, and also the modern level of the university, emphasized its constant development (the ambassador attended KNTEU 2 years ago).
The parties discussed further cooperation, issues on overcoming obstacles to the practical training of KNUTE students in the hotels of Greece in particular.
