KNUTE Scientists Take Leading Positions: KNUTE Professor at the 62nd Congress of the International Statistical InstituteGeneral Information
In August 2019, the 62nd Congress of the International Statistical Institute (ISI) was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The mission of ISI is to promote the understanding and development of statistics around the world. The goals of the ISI are to strengthen and support the international statistical community, to promote and spread scientific statistical research, and to disseminate statistical research within all forms of education.
More than 2500 participants from 137 countries participated in the 62nd International Congress of World Statistics at the Kuala Lumpur Palace of Congress.
R. Motoryn, KNUTE Professor of the Department of Statistics and Econometrics, Member of the International Statistical Institute since 1998, was one of the Congress participants. He gave a presentation at the IPS 146 Session on "Prospects for the development of higher education based on Big Data technology"
Professor R. Motoryn participated in the work of the CPC 1397 Session, where his poster on the topic "Use of national account data in international comparisons of indicators of dynamics and structure of GDP (At the production stage)" was discussed.
