Oleksii Novikov defended his title as the strongest man of Ukraine for the fourth time. Oleksii won Strongest Man of Ukraine-2019 competition, held on September 14, 2019 in the city of Dnipro.

The best athletes from different cities of Ukraine took part in the finals of the competition. Athletes competed in various weightlifting exercises to get the title of the Ukraine's strongest man.

2019 Strongest Man Arena Tour is the competition of the strongest athletes of the world, at which Ukraine was represented by the famous KNUTE student Oleksii Novikov, took place at the Manchester Arena (Great Britain).

Oleksii's main contender was a current champion Mateusz Kiliszkowski, whom he constantly met at the world sports arenas.

The youngest finalist, Oleksii Novikov, took the third place on the podium.

Oleksii had to compete in five tough competitions: lifting a barbell weighing 350 kg, a giant dumbbell weighing 103 kg, to carry out the so-called "Walk with a car" weighing 450 kg, to withstand the thrust of the legendary "Pillars of Hercules" and to carry heavy spheres made of steel and stone.

Oleksii is now expecting a hot autumn sports season. In September, the athlete plans to defend his title of the strongest man in Arnold Classic-Europe and to compete for the title of the strongest junior on the planet!
