Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics with the assistance of Embassy of France in Ukraine welcomed Mrs. Severin Renar, a French Tourism Expert and Mont-Saint-Michel Project Manager, with a lecture on Restoration of Mont-Saint-Michel Marine Environment.
Mont-Saint-Michel is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Western Europe due to its architectural complex and unique nature. More than 2.5 million people visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site annually.
Methods of managing the tourist destination and tourist flows, history of the Restoration of Mont-Saint-Michel Marine Environment project, as well as issues related to the development of this tourist destination infrastructure were discussed during the lecture.
Lecturers of the Department of Tourism and Recreation, as well as students listened to the lecture with great interest and received answers to all the questions. T. Tkachenko, the head of the department, expressed her gratitude to S. Renar for her visit, high professionalism and hope for further meetings.
