On October 12, 2020, KNUTE Career Week 2020 started at the university and will last until October 16.
During the week, students will have the opportunity to participate in online workshops, webinars, presentations and guest lectures of KNUTE leading partner companies.
On the first day, there were six career events, attended by up to five hundred students and graduate students.
From the master class of Fozzy Group JSC on Career Opportunities in FOZZY GROUP Logistics students learned about the requirements for those specialists who want to develop in the field of logistics. The speaker Anastasiia Melnikova spoke about the structure and opportunities for career growth in warehousing and transport logistics.
At the presentation of DECATHLON Ukraine LLC, speakers Polina Duzha and Anastasiia Poklipach spoke about sporting goods: from development and production to retail. The participants of the meeting learned about the peculiarities of these processes. Sports-oriented students were invited to join the DECATHLON team.
Master class of L’Oreal Ukraine LLC on Everything and Even More about Corporate Logistics. Start Your Career with L’Oréal Ukraine was conducted by KNUTE graduate Polina Zavaliuk (Supply Chain Manager) and Yaroslava Musevych (Recruitment Manager). Students and postgraduate students learned about distribution channels in Ukraine and around the world, Ms. Polina schematically showed and told about the production process and sales models of the company's products. Ms. Yaroslava spoke about LOREAL Ukraine social projects, a modern office with areas for collaborations and without a specific workplace, which significantly increases efficiency. Students were invited to hold starting positions in the company and assured that “lack of experience is not an obstacle to this, because mentors will help to quickly adapt to work.”
The webinar of Fora LLC on the topic "Job that is Easy to Love" showed participants the peculiarities of working in a large retail chain. Speakers Anastasiia Bezuglova and Iryna Aksionova emphasized the “soft skils” necessary to work with people.
Lifesell LLC's master class on Competences Valued by Employers will help its participants to be ready to meet with employers in the future. The speaker Victoriia Kosenko described in detail the most important competences that stakeholders want to see and shared life hacks on how to acquire them.
At the presentation of KPMG-Ukraine LLC on Career that Inspires, the speaker Anastasiia Zozulia, an expert in attracting talent, spoke about how to build a career in an international company. She described each stage of selecting interns and provided recommendations on having a successful interview.
Each meeting was interesting both for students and stakeholders, who could ask and answer questions.
KNUTE Career Week 2020 continues, so we expect new interesting lectures from employers.
