All-Ukrainian Round Table "National Stereotypes and Vectors of International Management Development"

General Information

The war shook the economy, but at the same time it opened a window of opportunity that could turn Ukraine into one of the most powerful economies in Europe. Business is changing, but in order to stand up and start developing again, it is necessary to effectively manage business processes, to respond quickly to today's challenges and circumstances. That is why nowadays it is so important for managers and top management of companies to have modern management business tools that will allow to ensure business development even in war conditions.

On October 21, 2022, the Department of International Management of the State University of Trade and Economics organized the All-Ukrainian Round Table "National Stereotypes and Vectors of International Management Development".

The purpose of the event was to discuss theoretical and applied issues of national stereotypes and vectors of the international management development. 35 people took part in the round table. Svitlana Melnychenko, the Vice Rector on Scientific Work, and Tetiana Melnyk, the Head of the Department of International Management, addressed the invited guests with welcoming words.

Presentations were made by scientists from the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, the Director of Menestis Tourist Company LLC and the Chief Financial Analyst of the Department of Business Support of the NBU, the Director of the Scientific Center of Innovative Researches, the PR Director of the company "Kasta Group" and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA).

The participants discussed a number of important issues related to the development of project management in the conditions of modern global challenges, national stereotypes of attracting foreign capital to Ukraine, national stereotypes of international management: the security component, prospects for the development and provision of global financial control, the redesign of tourist logistics in the conditions of a military invasion of the territory of Ukraine etc.

 Those present agreed on the next meeting and further exchange of views on this important topic.
