During the open lecture, students learned about the structure of the athletics federation, the specifics of the training of athletes, the organization of national and international level competitions, the certification of sports facilities, and the process of training coaches and judges. An interesting focus was on cooperation with mass media and digitalization of sports. The speaker explained in detail the specifics of the sports manager's work in terms of providing funding for athletes and events, and also focused on advertising and the importance of working with sponsors. The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, the listeners actively asked questions and were interested in the strategy for the development of athletics in Ukraine, the specifics of anti-doping measures and the level of injuries at competitions.

The lecture was held online and interested sports managers, as well as students of other specialties and teachers.
