“School of Applied Jurisprudence: Moot Courts”

General Information

The course “School of Applied Jurisprudence” develops the practical competencies of future lawyers in terms of knowledge of legislation, understanding of legal issues, development of critical thinking skills and the ability to apply legal principles to solve complex situations. As part of the course, on 27 and 29 May 2023, two moot courts hearings were held for Master's degree students studying in the speciality 082 "Law" under the chairmanship of Judge Yulia Kartavtseva of the Kyiv Commercial Court and Judge Andrii Havryshchuk of the Sviatoshynskyi District Court of Kyiv. The students studied the materials of court cases (compiled by Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Oleksandr Ivasyn), prepared draft legal documents and presented them during the hearings.

The judges noted the high level of training of future lawyers.
