Students and pupils of specialized institutions of higher education, professional and technical education institutions, and culinary schools are invited to participate in the festival.

Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, compete with foreign colleagues, participate in professional master classes and educational seminars, gain new knowledge and experience during professional communication with chefs and pastry chefs at the international level. World-familiar chefs and judges of the World Association of Chefs' Societies (WACS) and well-known chefs of domestic restaurants are invited to judge competitions at the 7th International Festival of Restaurant Technologies and Food Design "BESTCOOKFEST-2023".

Competitions of the 7th International Festival of Restaurant Technologies and Food Design "BESTCOOKFEST-2023" will be evaluated according to the recommendations of the World Association of Chefs' Societies (WACS) in the following categories:

C3. Best Street Food in Ukrainian (fusion burgers, sandwiches, shawarma, etc.).

C4. Best Chef Junior (appetizer+main course).

C5. Best Pastry Chef Junior.

C6. Best School Lunch.

D1. Sugar flowers (English technique).

D2. Works based on marzipan and mastic.

D3. Artistic work from the dough (loaf).

D4. Craft bread.

D5. Bento cake.

D6. Modern fusion Ukrainian cuisine. Ukraine in the world.

The winners will be awarded with gold, silver, and bronze medals in each of the nominations. Winners in the Best Culinary School-2023 will receive Grand Prix Cup! The rest of the contestants will be awarded a diploma for participation in the International Festival of Restaurant Technologies and Food Design "BESTCOOKFEST-2023".

The official opening of the 7th International Festival of Restaurant Technologies and Food Design "BESTCOOKFEST-2023" will take place on November 2-3, 2023 at 10 a.m. at the State University of Trade and Economics at the address: Kyiv, str. Kyoto, 19.
