The all-Ukrainian scientific and research conference: Global Changes in the Domestic Financial Sector in the Post-Crisis (Post-War) Period

On October 12, 2023, the Department of Banking, Faculty of Finance and Accounting, organized and held All-Ukrainian scientific and research conference Global Changes in the Domestic Financial Sector in the Post-Crisis (Post-War) Period.
Sixty people took part in the event, including scientists from seven leading universities of Ukraine, practitioners, representatives of foreign universities.
Rector of the State University of Trade and Economics, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine Anatoly MAZARAKI made a welcome speech, where he focused attention on the relevance of the issues of the conference, identified the key vectors and tasks, and inspired the participants to a fruitful scientific discussion and generation of significant scientific and practical results.
Leading scientists and practitioners took part in the conference. At the conference wide range of issues were discussed, as follows: European integration of the domestic financial market; development of banking activities; modern trends of the financial sector of Ukraine; financial stimulation of the country's export potential development; management of environmental and social risks of banks; increasing of the financial sector stability; digitalization of banking activity; development of credit operations; improvement of public finances, financial inclusion, accounting, macro prudential supervision, integration of the domestic financial sector into the European financial system. In the context of the scientific interests of the conference, many other important issues were also considered, namely: "green" finance, credit support for the military, mortgage lending, development of insurance business and leasing activities, etc.
Solving all the mentioned problems can be useful in developing a strategy for the country's financial recovery, improving the activities of financial and credit institutions, monetary and macro prudential policies of the National Bank of Ukraine.
