Regional Conference of Rectors of AUF member establishments in Central and Eastern Europe
General Information
On June 27-28, 2024, Vice-rector for Research, Pedagogical Activities and International Relations Professor Anzhelika Gerasymenko participated in the Regional Conference of Rectors of AUF member establishments in Central and Eastern Europe. Among the participants of the conference were rectors and vice-rectors of leading universities of Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Moldova, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine.
The conference discussed the AUF Strategy for the next 5 years, the Francophone Mobility Program, as well as the problems of internationalization of research, challenges in the research environment posed by artificial intelligence and cyber threats, and ways to overcome them. Priorities for joint projects in Central and Eastern Europe were identified and the roadmap for their implementation was outlined.
