Visit of the French Embassy Attaché for Scientific and University Cooperation to SUTE
General Information
On December 03, 2024, the State University of Trade and Economics (SUTE) had the honor of hosting Ms. Héloïse Marmouset-de la Taille, Attaché for Scientific and University Cooperation at the Embassy of France in Ukraine. This visit marked a significant milestone in strengthening partnerships between our university and higher education institutions in France.
The visit’s program was rich and focused on discussing new avenues for collaboration. During the meeting with the university administration and leaders of international programs, key directions for joint initiatives were identified, including:
- Creating new opportunities for students and faculty to participate in exchange programs, study at leading French universities, and earn joint degrees.
- Expanding existing agreements with French partners to allow SUTE students to earn diplomas from both countries.
- Launching joint research projects in fields such as economics, commodity science, pharmacy, and more, contributing to integration into the international scientific community.
In her address, Ms. Marmuse-de la Taille emphasized the importance of partnerships between Ukrainian and French universities as platforms for sharing experiences, innovative ideas, and expanding career opportunities for students and researchers. She praised SUTE’s potential and its contribution to the development of international education.
The meeting also showcased the university’s successful projects, including dual degree programs and outcomes of ongoing research collaborations with French partners.
Outcomes of the Visit and Future Prospects
As a result of this visit, SUTE anticipates an expansion of cooperation with French educational institutions, including signing new agreements and launching additional joint programs. The university plans to organize seminars, workshops, and student internships involving French experts.
