The event was opened by Anatoliy MAZARAKI, Rector of the University, who presented SUTE achievements and told the story of cooperation with Italian universities. Representatives of the Italian Embassy in Ukraine, the partner university, and international financial institutions that donated to the project joined the ceremony with congratulations: Francesco PESCE (Embassy of Italy in Ukraine), Gustavo PIGA (University of Rome Tor Vergata), Jan JACKHOLT (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), Alaleh MOTAMEDI (European Investment Bank), Ann JANSSENS (Council of Europe Development Bank), Hanadi AL NABULSI (IMPPM Alumni Association).

An important input was the presentations by the students of the programme – leading public procurement experts from the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, National Bank of Ukraine, ARMA, Rivne City Council, state and municipal enterprises: Ukrnafta, Ukrhydroenergo, PROZORRO, Professional Procurement, Forests of Ukraine, Guaranteed Buyer, Kyivpastrans, Kyivgenplan.

The event was moderated by Anzhelika Gerasymenko, Vice-rector for Research, Pedagogical Activities and International Relations and Project Manager.

The programme will be implemented by the Institute of Higher Education, which has relevant experience, as it has been cooperating with the Italian University of Guglielmo Marconi for 7 years within the framework of the double degree programme ‘International Business Administration’.
