General Information
Guest lectures by practitioners play an important role in training competitive specialists whose knowledge and competencies meet modern market demands. On May 1, 2025, as part of the functioning of the student scientific clubs «Synergy of Industrial Economics» and «Competition of the XXI Century», a guest lecture on “Digital Strategies for Competing in Sectoral Markets” was held by Yevgeny Tsyba, Head of Sales at Design оf Glass, a SUTE graduate. The lecture was attended by about one hundred SUTE higher education students.
The lecturer outlined the strategic importance and role of the market for glass structures and glazing services, noting its cross-sectoral dimension. He focused on the need to use these services in every home, office, retail, educational, production, warehouse, etc. Mr. Yevhen drew the audience's attention to the fact that a company seeking to gain recognition among consumers and clients is called upon to use innovative solutions in its work, combining quality materials, a variety of choices, a high level of professionalism and modern digital technologies. In this regard, the lecturer pointed out to the students the need to acquire knowledge that forms a modern highly qualified graduate, as well as the development of skills and abilities that higher education students should develop in order to be competitive in the modern labor market.
At the end of the lecture, the students received meaningful answers to a number of questions about the practice of implementing digital strategies in the market, the prospects for further development of the market for glass structures and glazing services in the post-war recovery, and employment opportunities for SUTE students at Design оf Glass.
The Department of Economics and Competition Policy and SUTE students thank Yevhen Tsyba for the excellent lecture, the relaxed atmosphere of communication and the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the market functioning and the prospects for further development of the glass structures and glazing services market.
