Participants of the clash of steel seventeen teams representing students of all faculties. In the game participated as senior students, permanent and active participants in the intellectual competitions and a lot of newcomers, students of the first-second year, which take part for the first time and are only beginning to experience in the fight. One team participated in the tournament out of the competition and consisted of the graduates of active players of the past years. All the participants demonstrated a high intellectual level, developed logic skills, strong team spirit and of great interest for the game, the questions which prepared the permanent host of the games of the tournament assistant of the Department of hotel and restaurant and tourist business Хлопяк Sergey Vasilievich.

III place-team of the faculty of Economics, management and law “Inversion", players, first-year students participated in the competition for the first time, the captain of the team ’ Ageev semen. II place was shared by the team of the faculty of Finance and banking "Alea iacta est (the die is Cast)", captain Maxim Boyko and faculty of restaurant-hotel business and travel industry «Schroedinger's cat", captain Dmitry Donchenko. Participants of such teams for many years take part in the Championships and usually win.

the Winner of the qualifying tournament of champion and the University of the game "What? Where? Command ­ a permanent participant of all the Championships KNTEU "the brain-ring", always fought for the victory and won the first place.

 Teams-winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts. They will present to the University in the final tournament XII Championship of KNTEU "the brain-ring" February 26, 2014 and will compete for the right to become the champion of KNTEU "the brain-ring" with teams of separate departments in Moscow, Kharkov, Uzhgorod Chernivtsi and trade institutions.
