The special significance of this ceremony was provided with the presence of honored guests – Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine D.V. Tabachnyk, Chief of International Cooperation A.D. Bozhkov, representatives of the French Embassy in Ukraine – Advisor for Culture and Cooperation, Director of the French Institute in Ukraine E.Tosatti, Attaché for University and Scientific Cooperation, Director of the French – Ukrainian Center G. Mametz and responsible for the scholarship programs V. Besedina.

The ceremony was opened by the Rector A.A. Mazaraki:
"In all my years of teaching our students received 98 "Master" diplomas, 235 "Licence" diplomas and more than 800 university diplomas "Duma" 1, 2. Many graduates of the French-Ukrainian Institute of Management continued theirs studies in the Master's programs at universities in France. Cooperation between Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics and the University d'Auvergne become the largest project for Ukraine and France in the field of education".

Anthems of France and Ukraine were performed by soloist O. Yupatov and choir of KNUTE.

Also speeches were made by F. Cassiere – responsible for international relations in the University d'Auvergne and E. Tosatti.

Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Dmitrii Tabachnyk congratulated professors, administration and graduates of Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics: "... with a huge success – the fact that you have proved that Ukrainian higher education is strong, powerful and competitive."
"The University really successfully implemented for many years the most visible, prolific and efficient project – cooperation between Ukrainian and French higher education. Despite the fact that students had to study both Ukrainian and French programs, I think it is a joy to be able to study in France", - said the Minister.
Addressing the graduates, Dmitrii Tabachnyk said, "Well done! Are you pleased your professors, made ​​a gift to your parents and a breakthrough for life itself. This is the most important thing!".

Diplomas were handed by F. Cassiere and N.M. Hulyaeva (Director of the French-Ukrainian Institute of Management KNTEU).

In addition, 10 students from the universities of Poltava, Donetsk, Lviv received diplomas for their achievements in the pilot group of 4 -year European Union project "TEMPUS MODEP", which involved 12 universities in Europe, and was the coordinator by KNUTE. Diplomas were handed by E. Tosatti – Counselor of the Embassy and S. Batsyukova – Coordinator of National Tempus Office in Ukraine.

The final chord was the performance by the KNUTE’s choir of the students’ anthem "Gaudeamus" and on the occasion of St.Valentine's Day well-known song – "Une vie d'amour".
